Because of the shorter cooking times you may like to have a halogen recipes book for your cooker while you get to grips with using it. Over time you will no doubt be able to adapt the recipes from your other cook books. As a rule of thumb just use it as you would use your oven but reduce the temperature by 20 degrees or so and cut the time down accordingly.The built in fan means that things cook much more evenly than in a microwave.

It is worth remembering that even if you are not using special low fat recipes that by dent of how a halogen oven works you should be getting less fat in your diet.
